Our Utilities and Maintenance department is looking for your enthusiasm, sense of humor, and ability to get things done timely and accurately to enrich our culture and provide critical administrative support as our next Administrative Assistant.

What is the day-to-day like? Every day is different!
The Utilities and Maintenance department is responsible for the efficient operation, management and upkeep of all campus utilities as well as the repair and upkeep of all campus buildings. Responsible for a wide array of tasks, you will:
  • Work with both internal and external personnel and contractors
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Maintain various recordkeeping and reporting functions
  • Manage procurement ordering
  • Performs the administrative support for locates across campus
  • Receive & process materials
  • Perform overall office administration

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent working knowledge of computers and ability to utilize a variety of software applications
  • Ability to make recommendations for continuous improvement of current and future processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

These qualifications are not required! Having these additional qualifications may simply enhance the likelihood of being considered a top applicant:
  • Associates Degree or some college
  • Working knowledge of University processes and policies
