An essential member of the Facility Contracts Department. The individual will participate in the moving, set-up and break down of a variety of events as well as day to day needs of the college. The individual will work inside and outside and may be exposed to wet, cold or hot conditions. 

Responsible for setting up various rooms on campus for meetings, training sessions, banquets, and teleconferences; Pickup and deliver supplies, equipment and various materials on and off campus; Move office furniture and equipment within and between departments. In addition, individuals must have the ability to or be willing to learn how to operate a pickup truck while towing a trailer; operate a forklift, operate hand trucks, operate pallet jacks as well as various hand tools and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

High school diploma or GED; Valid Texas Driver’s License, ability to meet requirements of to be an Authorized Driver of Odessa College; Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch, in order to set and maneuver equipment and various materials; Ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of heavy and awkward materials. 

Mon-Fri -expected flexibility to accommodate events that take place outside the normal hours of operation. Summer Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5:30pm Fridays off
