DESCRIPTION
This is a pool of applicants for any administrative/clerical substitute, part-time hourly, temporary positions that may become available at Napa Valley College. Applications submitted to this temporary pool will be screened by the Office of Human Resources, Training & Development for minimum qualifications. These temporary positions are at-will employment.
Possible positions that may fall under this Administrative/Clerical temporary pool are:- Typist Clerk II ($16.00
- Secretary I ($16.00)
- Secretary II ($16.61)
- Secretary III ($17.47)
- Secretary IV ($18.10)
- Administrative Assistant ($19.74)
- Typist Clerk II - The primary objective of this position is to perform a wide variety of general clerical work using established clerical procedures, including word processing, record keeping, and student service functions.
- Secretary I - The primary objective of this position is to perform a variety of secretarial and clerical work including administrative detail in support of a program, administrator, or higher level secretarial position.
- Secretary II - The primary objective of this position is to perform a variety of complex secretarial and clerical work including administrative detail in support of faculty, an administrator, or a program.
- Secretary III - The primary objective of this position is to perform a variety of difficult and complex secretarial duties emphasizing administrative detail and departmental tasks, and oversee office functions as required.
- Secretary IV - The primary objective of this position is to perform administrative support duties, provide difficult and complex secretarial tasks, and manage office functions.
- Administrative Assistant - The primary objective of this position is to provide difficult and complex technical, accounting, and administrative support duties; manage office functions; undertake and complete administrative projects; oversee a local area network.
