JOB DUTIES
- Maintains knowledge of the general college policies & procedures
- Assists students with financial aid online applications & documents
- Responds to emails, calls & voicemails
- Promptly, accurately, & professionally responds to student & staff inquiries
- Develops & maintains professional working relationships with students & staff
- Maintains inventory & ordering of office equipment & supplies
- Processes & distributes outgoing & incoming mail
- Maintains confidentiality of student information based on FERPA regulations
- Cross-trains within department to ensure efficient operations
- Participates in outreach events & assists with presentations
- Other duties, as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work performed in an office environment. The position requires working at one of 2 locations (West Windsor or James Kerney Campus), with a hybrid schedule, and includes some evening hours of office coverage.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree (or 60 credits in a Bachelor’s Degree program) from an accredited college/university
- 1 year of work experience in an office environment
- Demonstrated experience of working with a variety of diverse people
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Ellucian Colleague
- Experience in a financial aid office at a community college
