Part time, temporary, grant funded ABE/HSE/ESL Program Administrative Assistant.
Enters, manages and maintains all data for students enrolled in the ABE/HSE and ESL Programs for inclusion in the WIOA Title II grant. Maintains and tracks student data using the LACES database and online software programs. Creates administrative reports. Manages and proctors CASAS testing.
- Enters and maintains student data in the LACES database for students enrolled in the ABE/HSE/ESL Programs.
- Manages and maintains LACES online database reporting system including evaluation and update of individual student records with CASAS, HiSET and GED test scores and follow-up on students’ program goals and employment/educational/training achievements.
- Maintains accurate and comprehensive student records with all state mandated forms for inclusion in the official grant reports as well as monitoring by the state.
- Tracks and enters daily, bimonthly and monthly student attendance hours and Distance Learning hours in Excel spreadsheets and in LACES database. Contacts students regarding attendance.
- Conducts pre- and post-testing using CASAS. Manages online test sessions. Proctors student testing. Tracks CASAS post-test requirements and provides instructors with student list for post-testing.
- Assists new ABE/HSE/ESL students in the registration process (IDs, E-Mails, Regroup, Remind, GED account).
- Prepares administrative data reports as required by the NJDOL and the National reporting System (NRS).
- Attends all LiteracyPro meetings, trainings, workshops and professional development as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains program files, forms and handouts.
- Performs various office administrative tasks.
- Coordinates payroll hours, meetings, student lists, accounts and testing information with program staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Education:
Associate’s Degree or higher
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in data handling and entry
- Computer skills – Proficient with LACES, CASAS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong math, writing, and literacy skills
Salary: $17.00 per hour
