General Athletics Worker
Gogebic Community College is seeking students for a part-time position in the Athletics Department as the General Athletics Worker.
This position pays $12.00 per hour and may provide up to 5 hours per week.

Job Description:
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work as athletic game day workers at our sporting events. As a game day worker, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and that the fans have a great experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and signage before and after game day events. Help with traffic control. Assist with ticket taking and scanning at event entrances. Potentially Line Judge Volleyball Games (White Shirt and Black Pants Required)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Student at GCC Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends.
- Previous experience in customer service or event management is a plus.

Anticipated Days Per Week: Varies with Athletic Schedule
Position Available for: Fall and Spring Semester
Campus position will be located at: Ironwood
Supervisor: Dr. Jennifer Sabourin, Athletic Director
Federal Work Study Application Process
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
1. Have a complete Financial Aid Application (FAFSA and all supporting documents).
2. Be approved for Federal Work Study (FWS) on your Financial Aid Notification.
3. Complete and submit the Federal Work Study Application.
4. One your application is reviewed the Office of Student Financial Aid will notify you using your GCC email.
5. Be in good academic standing.
