Specialist I, Registrar's Office - Part time

Class Description

The purpose of this class is to provide telephone support, answering a high volume of calls to the Registrar's Office from the Call Center.  The Registrar's Office serves as a second tier to the College's Call Center.
 

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma/GED and two years direct telephone customer service experience. Proficient computer skills, knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with FERPA standards and CCBC's policies and procedures preferred.
 

Class Specific Essential Duties

  1. Assist incoming callers in the Registrar telephone queue with all aspects of the enrollment process.
  2. Provide accurate and up-to-date information related to entry services, graduation, course information, payment options, and program and catalog information.
  3. Provide day to day processing of enrollment related paperwork as required.
  4. Audit and/or verify student records.
  5. Research and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Provide support for the scanning and indexing of enrollment documents.
  7. Process mail and handle inquiries from internal and external sources.
